Beginning Piano Lessons for Adults and Youth (Age 10 and Up)
To teach A Higher Note beginning piano students, I use the Bastien Piano for Adults: A Beginning Course: Lessons, Theory, Technic, Sight Reading. It is available with and without an accompanying CD, which you can use in your practice.
As we progress together through the book, you'll learn the "from soup" part of the "from soup to nuts" phrase. Literally, you'll begin at the beginning, demystifying the piano completely, along with the sheet music that usually accompanies it. You'll begin playing little ditties from Day One, then progress over time to simplified versions of both classical and popular tunes.
Lesson Fees:

- $25 - 1/2 Hour
Note: We all have to know our limitations and I know mine. When you reach the end of this book with me, like a mother hen nudging her little chick out of the nest, I will most likely urge you to find a teacher who can take you further. I can even suggest some names of good potential teachers for you to contact.
